2023 Teacher Trainees Requests Financial Clearance from Ministry of Finance to facilitate their recruitment process.




The 2023 graduates of Teacher Training Colleges in Ghana has released a presser on delay of financial clearance to help Ministry of Education and GHANA Education Service recruit them into active service.

CUTT CALLS FOR FINANCIAL CLEARANCE AND OPENING OF GES PORTAL FOR RECRUITMENT

Congratulations on your appointment as the Minister of Education. We, the Coalition of Unemployed Trained Teachers (CUTT), repeesenting 2023 graduates from various Colleges of Education across Ghana wish to extend our heartfelt felicitations to you as you take on this critical tole in shaping the educational sector of our nation.

We are optimistic that your leadership will bring about transformative changes that will benefit both the education fraternity and the country at large. This letter is to reiterate the eagerness of our members to contribute to the educational development of Ghana, having fulfilled all necessary requirements. These include graduating from the Colleges of Education, passing the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examinations (GTLE) and acquiring our provisional teaching license which is set to expire next year 2026 and completing the mandatory one-year national service

Our ticimbers are professionally traincal teachers from the 46 accreslited public Colleges of Education across the country. Despite fulfilling all requirements expected of us by the Ministry and related agencies, we continue to face undue delays in our employment, which has brought significant emotional, social, and financial strain on us and our families as we await our posting to various educational institutions, we are compelled to inquire about the timeline for our deployment. 

It is urgent that the Ministry of Education provides clear guidelines when College of Education graduates can expect to be recruited and posted to schools. Transparency in the recruitment process would greatly alleviate the uncertainty and anxiety that many of our members are currently experiencing.

We respectfully request that the ministry makes a public announcement regarding the recruitment timeline for College of Education graduates. Specifically, we would like to know


1. The exact timeline for the recruitment process.

2. When we should expect to be posted to our respective schools.

3. Any additional requirements ie steps that we need to take in order to be considered for recruitment.

We believe that with your intervention, the process can be streamlined, ensuring that qualified and dedicated educators are placed where they most needed. Your commitment to enhancing the quality of education in Ghana will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the lives of our students and the future of our nation

In conclusion, we remain hopeful for a prompt and favorable response, as we continue to place our trust in your leadership and commitment to quality education and teacher welfare in Ghana. We look forward to a positive response from your ministry and to contributing meaningfully to Ghana's educational landscape under your stewardship.
